Ghost walks are best experienced after dark, when the town's atmosphere truly comes alive.Comfortable footwear is recommended, as parts of the route include uneven streets and older pathways.Unless specifically advertised otherwise, the tours are alcohol-free experiences. There are plenty of great pubs to enjoy afterwards, and luckily enough, many are close to where the tours finish.We also ask visitors to be respectful around graveyards and historical sites, many of which remain significant to local families today. Photos are welcome for personal memories, but we kindly ask that images of graves not be shared publicly on social media.
